Here are some options to get to Georgetown University:

DRIVING: St. Mary's Hall is at 3700 Reservoir Road (on Reservoir Road between 37th and 38th Streets, NW). Turn into Entrance No. 1 off of Reservoir Road and turn left at the flagpole. Parking is available at the parking lot on your left, which is directly across from St. Mary's Hall, which will be on your right.

METRO via GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY SHUTTLE: Hop the free Georgetown University Transportation System (GUTS) direct to campus from the Rosslyn Metro Station (from the corner of 19th and Moore Streets, to the left of the Metro exit) and Dupont Circle Metro station (from the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and 20th Street, outside of the Hungarian Cultural House) as well as from the Law Center.

The free shuttle, which picks up weekdays from 6 AM to 11:45 PM every 10-20 minutes, stops very close to St. Mary Hall.

You will be dropped off in front of Darnall Hall (no. 17 on the map below). Simply walk north towards Reservoir Road to St. Mary's Hall

METROBUS: The following Metrobuses stop directly at or near Georgetown University. For timeschedules, go to http://www.wmata.com

  • D1, D3, D6: Sibley Hospital-Stadium-Armory Line (click here for the timetable in PDF)
    This daily bus stops directly outside St. Mary's Hall. It travels from Sibley Hospital to the Stadium-Armory Metro Station, stopping at Union Station, Judiciary Square, Metro Center, Dupont Circle, and Farragut West along the way.
  • G2: P Street-LeDroit Park Line (click here for the timetable in PDF)
    This daily bus stops at the Georgetown University gates, from which you simply walk about 6 minutes across campus to St. Mary's Hall. It travels along P Street from Howard University through Dupont Circle to Georgetown University.
  • 30,32,34,35,36: Friendship Heights Station-Naylor Road/Southern Avenue Station Line (click here for the timetable in PDF)
    This bus serves Southern Ave station (32), Naylor Road station (34,35,36), Hillcrest (35,36), Capitol Hill, The National Mall, Federal Triangle, White House, Georgetown, Washington National Cathedral, Tenleytown-AU station and Friendship Heights station.
